Celebrate all things New York Peace Institute on May 16th! 

PeaceRaiser 6: Power to the Peaceful will be an incredible evening featuring a pop-up art gallery, open bar, entertainment, and great food!

 

PeaceRaiser 6: Power to the Peaceful will celebrate eight years of New York Peace Institute’s accomplishments, focus on our restorative justice programs and honor Lisa Courtney, Statewide Alternative Dispute Resolution Coordinator, New York Unified Court System. This fantastic evening will also include performances by comedians Alingon Mitra and Kareem Green and a silent and live auction curated by Queen of Hearts Productions, Inc. featuring street art in the theme of restorative justice. Learn more about Queen of Hearts Productions and founder Rachael N. As New York City’s largest civilian peace force and the designated Community Dispute Resolution Center (CDRC) for both Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York Peace Institute’s (NYPI) mission is to empower people to find creative and durable solutions to their disputes. We provide conflict resolution services in the form of mediation, conflict coaching, restorative processes, group facilitation, and skills training to over 10,000 New Yorkers each year, and we advance the dispute resolution field by training and certifying professional mediators and teaching vital conflict resolution skills to our community.
