Come celebrate all things New York Peace Institute with us on May 16th!
PeaceRaiser 6: Power to the Peaceful will be an evening filled with fantastic entertainment, stimulating conversation, a delicious dinner and full open bar, and tons of fun!

PeaceRaiser 6: Power to the Peaceful will celebrate eight years of New York Peace Institute’s accomplishments and feature our restorative justice work. Our restorative justice programs provide alternatives to over 900 Brooklyn Criminal Court clients
and court-involved youth a year, have reduced suspensions by 50% in two high schools,
and have worked with countless community groups to lead restorative circles.

We also provide trainings in restorative practices to community-based organizations and schools throughout the city.

Please join us in supporting and celebrating this incredible work!

Hudson Terrace is a premier ADA accessible waterfront event space with a glass roof and incredible panoramic views. If you have any questions about accessibility, please email Anna Keye at

As New York City’s largest civilian peace force and the designated Community Dispute Resolution Center (CDRC) for both Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York Peace Institute’s (NYPI) mission is to empower people to find creative and durable solutions to their disputes. We provide conflict resolution services in the form of mediation, conflict coaching, restorative processes, group facilitation, and skills training to over 10,000 New Yorkers each year, and we advance the dispute resolution field by training and certifying professional mediators and teaching vital conflict resolution skills to our community.
