New York Peace Institute is offering a 3-day training on Tier I Restorative Practices: Community Building. We begin with an overview of Restorative Justice theory and principles, and then focus on how to design scripts and facilitate circles. Participants receive feedback from a trained coach to help develop their own voice, style, and skills as a circle keeper. Participants learn about circles by being in circle. We explore how to use restorative strategies proactively to prevent harm in our communities. Participants leave with an understanding of Restorative Practices, as well as facilitation skills, and access to a community of RJ practitioners.
